How to download, install & login to MT4/MT5 (Win/Mac). FBS tutorial
You can download a trading platform using 2 ways. The first way is to download it from the website fbs.com. Click “Trading” in the top menu and then choose the platform below the “Trading platforms” inscription.
The second way is to download the software from your personal area. After you log in, click “Trading platform” button in the middle of your screen.
FBS offers options for operation systems (Windows, iOS, and Android), as well as the Web trader.
For example, let’s choose MetaTrader 4 for Windows. Download the installation file and open it to begin the setup process.
Click “Run”.
Read the license agreement with METAQUOTES SOFTWARE CORP and tick that you agree to the terms.
Click “Next” and then “Finish” when the download is over.
In order to login into your MT4, you will need trading account password given to you by FBS during your trading account registration.
You can find these data in the registration email by FBS. Note that the initial password to your MT4 is viewable only within 24 hours after the registration.
If you didn’t save it, you can get a new password in your personal area.
Click at the account number in the menu on the left. Then you will see the ‘create new password’ option.
Press “Generate password”. Here you are – you have your new account password. Don’t forget to save this password this time.
Once the program is launched, you’ll see the login window. Firstly, you will need to choose your trading server.
Fill in the data provided to you by FBS during your registration process. When filling in the password, remember that it is case-sensitive.
You will see that FBS has many trading servers. The number of your server is also in your account information.
Here it’s “FBS-Real-2”. So, we choose it and press “Further”. We choose “Existing trade account” here to fill in login and passwords,
but you see that you can also open a new demo account and new real account during the MT4 login process.
Copy the login, which is your account number. Next goes the trading password.
Make sure that you have “Save password” in order not to log in the next time you open MT4. Press “Finish”.
Check your “Connection status” in the lower right corner. If you see these green & blue columns and the speed of your Internet connection, it means that you are connected to the server and able to trade.
If at some point you will need to login to another MT4 account, press “File”, “Login to Trade Account” and fill in the required data.
